The NEC FieldAnalyst Camera definitely gives me the creeps as it is able to analyze passers-by based on their looks alone. Guess this is one camera that judges the book by its cover, capable of determining one's gender and approximate age after taking your dressing into account. The creators are currently developing an application that sorts out exactly where you stand in the social hierarchy - I suppose this is where the saying "clothes make the man" holds true. It costs a whopping $19,000 for this - any idea how you're going to use it? One thing I know is this - car salespeople already have this innate ability as they know for sure whether you can afford that Porsche the moment you step foot into their showroom.
