LG has just launched its new full HD G Platform plastma TV display that boasts an extremely high contrast ratio of 30,000 to 1 - double that of the current highest existing ratio. This means you get exceptionally true colors (to tell you the truth, my eyes aren't that sensitive and I seriously don't think that the additional dough forked out is worth the lively colors you get - the law of diminishing returns are at work here) across the entire spectrum with a 20% reduced reflection rate. These new G Platform plasma TV panels will be available in 32", 42" and 50" HD models while those looking for the full HD experience will be able to choose from 50" and 60" models.
