Handheld supercomputers to come?

Handheld supercomputers to come? Experts at a Scottish university have created a tool that could potentially develop tiny microchips, paving the way for handheld supercomputers to be released sometime in the future. Current technology does not make any provision for microchips that use thinner wires, and this new study involved observing the behaviour of wires which were 1,000 times thinner than the human hair. At that size, such wires behave much differently from bigger wires, helping engineers think of a way to predict what sort of problems might arise as well as circumventing them. A handheld supercomputer would definitely be my cup of tea - the only problem would be battery issues.
