LG has shown a new home theater system called HT972TR (horrible name) that looks seemingly like their “chocolate” line of cellphones. The front feature a tactile interface and it is designed with a shiny black. Oh and it has some technical merits too: 1080p upscaling and reads DivX videos in addition of most popular digital file formats from any CD/DVD based media. Finally, the sound has to come out somewhere and it does it (theoretically) in style with “Virtual Sound Matrix”, LG’s surround sound. Let’s hope that it performs as well as it looks.
