For those who picked up the PS3 as the cheapest Blu-ray player in the market when it was first released, why not complement it with this Blu-ray remote from Messiah? Known as the Messiah Darklite DVD remote, it looks a whole lot like the LG Chocolate cellphone at first glance. Sliding the remote downwards will reveal access to other functions such as forward, backward, and display. It will probably be backlit which is a boon to those who have special darkened home theater rooms. The Messiah Darklite remote comes with a rechargeable battery that can be juiced up whenever you hook it up to the base station which in turn is connected to the PS3 via a USB port. The base station comes with an IR receiver, so you'll need to point in the right direction in order to execute a command. For $30, you get a pretty slick design when it ships this September 25th. | | |
