The Dreamio line of LCD projectors from Epson Japan has a couple of new additions, namely the EMP-TWD10 and EMP-DM1. The former boasts 720p (1,280 x 800) resolution, so it isn't exactly the optimal choice when it comes to playing your PS3 games on the big screen. Other features include HDMI output, a 140 Watt lamp, a contrast ratio of 1,000 to 1, and a brightness of 1,200 lumens. The EMP-DM1 is dumbed down by dropping with the HDMI output. It supports a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and has a contrast ratio of 3,000 to 1. Both devices come with a built-in DVD player and USB ports for instant playback of MP3, WMA, and JPEG files. The Epson EMP-TWD10 and EMP-DM1 projectors will go on sale in Japan from September 19 for $1,290 and $817 respectively. | | |
