Coleman of Japan has unveiled a $33 portable shower that can hold 20 liters of water to keep you fresh no matter where you are. Powered by a quartet of AA batteries, it is supposed to pump water out but initial reviews showed that the water pressure borders on the dissapointing. Still, measuring just 1-foot cubed, you can't really argue with the usefulness of such a device during an emergency. While this will probably come in handy during an earthquake if you're trapped in a building, I believe most people would use the water for drinking purposes instead in order to maximize their chances of being rescued alive.
