It definitely holds an advantage over normal healing tracking that is done via human eyes since the Silhouette Mobile will be able to provide much more quantitative information than can ever be expected when compared to traditional methods. The potential for this device is far reaching - imagine using wireless technology to transmit patient information from remote sites to a central database for additional consultation, giving the patient the added advantage of rapid and informed patient management decisions.
