Daewoo SOLO C920 Netbook

Daewoo SOLO C920 Netbook

Daewoo is back with a brand new netbook - the SOLO C920. As expected with many other netbooks in the market, this 8.9" touchscreen model also doubles up as a tablet thanks to a swiveling hinge at the bottom of the display. Specifications include an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, a 60GB hard drive and Windows XP. Needless to say, you will need to install Windows 7 or Windows Tablet PC Edition yourself if you want to take advantage of the tablet feature of this netbook. No idea on pricing or availability around the world, although the Daewoo SOLO C920 is already seeing action in South Korea right now.

Palm Treo Pro Unlocked For $399

Palm Treo Pro Unlocked For $399

Palm's Pre is a pretty decent handset, but that doesn't mean their older offerings aren't solid enough for today's use. The Palm Treo Pro is now available for just $399 unlocked, knocking off $150 from its retail price in a bid to woo more customers to their fold. For those who want to pick it up at an even cheaper rate, make sure you qualify for a 2-year contract with Alltel or Sprint after rebate, where the handset will drop another $200 in the process. Just to jog your memory a little, the Palm Treo Pro will be powered by a 400MHz processor, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, a microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS navigation, a 320 x 320 resolution touchscreen display and a 2-megapixel camera.

Samsung Comeback Revealed

Samsung Comeback Revealed

Samsung aims to release a new handset in the near future known as the Samsung Comeback. While this moniker is more suitable for ailing companies like Motorola, the Comeback from the Korean conglomerate will come with a QWERTY keyboard in a defiant approach to modern design by ditching the full touchscreen display. Other features tipped to accompany the Samsung Comeback include 3G connectivity and a 2-megapixel camera with video recording capability.
